Examination and Promotions

For Classes VI to IX (Examination Specifications)
  1. The academic session shall be divided into 2 terms.
  2. Each term will have one Periodic Test, one Internal Assessment ( Note Book & SEA) and one Full test.
  3. Weightage given to Periodic Test and Internal Assessment (Note Books and Subject Enrichment Activities) is 10% every term.
  4. Half Yearly as well as Final Exams are conducted for 80 marks each.
  5. Final result is prepared after totaling the marks of both terms and then dividing it by two. 

The annual grades are awarded on a Eight Point Scale (Absolute) as given below:

For class XI and XII (Examination Specifications) Each academic session begins in the month of April. Two rounds of Unit Tests are conducted through the year. The first round is completed before the Mid-Year Terminal (Half Yearly) Examinations which is September and the second round between October and February. The annual examinations are conducted in the month of March. 

External Examination System
For class X & XII, the CBSE conducts a Nationwide examination in the month of March, called the All India Senior Secondary Certificate Examination (AISCCE) and All India Secondary School Examination (AISSE). The result is declared in May/June.
